Landway Construction: ACCREDITATIONS

Landway Construction Ltd is accredited by the CHAS and the SAFEcontractor Schemes.

CHAS, Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme, is established as the market leader for health and safety pre-qualification in the UK. CHAS is a non-commercial scheme available to suppliers and to organisations looking for suitably competent suppliers. It is a highly recognised and demonstrates the level of compliance with health and safety law.

The SAFEcontractor scheme is designed to review and audit the health and safety policies, procedures and documentation of contractors. The Safecontractor Charter Standards set down the benchmark against which contractors and service providers are assessed. The Standards cover core elements such as policy, risk assessment and first aid, but also include specific requirements relating to the activity for which accreditation is being sought.

Landway Construction Ltd is registered with Constructionline.

Constructionline is the Government's national register for pre-qualified contractors, it provides the pre-qualification tool for use in financial standing and technical references.
Landway Construction are approved contractors working for loss adjustors specialising in the Project Management and Full Reinstatement for fire, flood, impact and subsidence claims and work predominantly in ‘High Net Worth’ claims.

We are working through the process of becoming an NHBC Registered Contractor. NHBC, the National House Building Council is the standard setting body and leading warranty provider for new and newly-converted homes. NHBC is independent of Government and builders with no shareholders, non-profit distributing - any surpluses are invested in raising standards and a provider of services to raise standards in housing and construction.
