DRIVEWAY DESIGNS: RONACRETE
Landway Construction Ltd recently acquired approved contractor status with Ronacrete, offering ‘Ronadeck’ Resin Bound and Resin Bonded Surfacing which provides natural bonded stone surfaces for vehicle and foot traffic on domestic driveways, public buildings and national heritage sites.
‘Ronadeck Fast Grip’ a Resin Bonded Aggregate or Bonded Gravel provides the look of natural stone on paths and roadways, presenting a welcome break from tarmac or loose shingle. The system offers attractive surfacing which is durable for foot and vehicle traffic and is available in a select range of finishes.
The system allows surfaces to be transformed and be available to traffic within just a few hours. The process involves the application of a fast curing, self priming resin at a low temperature, next a layer of gravel applied which is then compacted into the resin and sealed providing the final hard-wearing surface.
‘Ronadeck Resin Bound Surfacing’ is effectively blending decorative gravel with a clear resin binder, creating an attractive alternative to ‘concrete’ which is suitable for paths, walkways, driveways, pool and pond surrounds.
This method provides a resin bonded stone, it is attractive, seamless and suitable for pedestrian and vehicle traffic. It must be laid on to a well designed, structurally sound and stable tarmacadam or concrete.
