    LANDWAY CONSTRUCTION: FAQ

We are always on the end of the telephone and happy to help so its usually easier to call us no matter how simple the query is.

Do you carry out minor works?
We carry out smaller works as well as the larger works and can often fit them in at fairly short notice.
Does it cost to have a quotation?
We make no charge for a quotation, all of our quotations are confirmed in writing before any works commence.
I would like a new extension, what's the next step?
We are happy to arrange an intial visit to discuss you plans, we can advise on the feasibility of the project and some likely costs. We can put you in touch with a good architect who can guide you through the planning process. Before any works are commenced you must be in receipt of planning approval and Building Regulations approval.
    Are your trademen qualified?
All of our trademen are fully qualified and carry out works in accordance with current regulation. We are both Corgi regiesterd and NICIC Electrically.
    What insurance do you carry?
Should anything go wrong then Landway carry £5 Million liability for any works.
We hate having to chase lots of different trademen to carry out our works, what different about you?
Your works are fully projected managed and we will make sure you have the right people at the right time to ensure your job is compeleted smoothly and on time. We are a one stop shop, where you will be dealing with one person.
We have had a leak from our bathroom which has brought our ceiling down whats the next step?
Once the leak has been isolated and the area has been made safe then its time to get on the phone to your insurers. They will put you in touch with an approved Loss Adjustor who will handle your claim and arrange to visit you. At this point you will need to obtain a quotation for the works required, feel free to call us as approved Contractors for many of the major Loss Adjustors we can speed this up.
