Landway Construction has been established since 1995 and is based in The Atrium Business Centre in Dorking. Set up to cater for the private building and maintenance as well as the insurance markets we have seem the business grow from two employees to over twenty five full and part time contractors specialising in all aspects of the building industry

Landway Construction are approved contractors for many major insurers including Direct Line, Tesco, Churchill’s and works closely with the approved loss adjustors to provide a full reinstatement service for fire, flood and impact damage Insurance claims

Recent works include a large contract to Refurbish Harrington’s bakery in Leatherhead which was heavily damaged by fire in September 2006, Two major fire damages in Ewell with three properties requiring full reinstatement following a fire in a commercial premises and a large scale extension in Ockley.

We also have a continuing run of smaller works from general maintenance and improvement works.

Landway Construction are active members of Checkatrade, Age Concern (contractor call) and Construction line.

We pride ourselves on our reputation and ensure all works are stringently undertaken. For all private works we undertake a satisfaction survey which is passed onto Checkatrade to be displayed on our website (www.checkatrade.co.uk). All insurance works are fully monitored with Satisfaction

We have recently become approved contractors for Helifix (www.helifix.co.uk) which provides stress free structural solutions creating structural reinforcement and repair to buildings

Our workforce is made up of qualified trades in all areas with some subcontracted trades within specialist fields. Many of our workforce have been employed with us from our inception and have grown with our company and are both diligent, hard working and honest individuals.

We carry out works with contract values up to £500,000. With a fully manned office available with two project managers as well as a three partners working within the business we are able to offer a consistent level of project management for all works that we undertake

Working within the public and private sectors we undertake the following activities:

• Planned and reactive Maintenance repairs
• Internals and external refurbishment
• Design and Build projects
• Project and contract management
• Alterations, adaptations and new build

We have an active Health and Safety policy to provide adequate control over the safety risks arising from our working activities, this include full site CDM plans and health and safety plans. All our staff are fully complaint.

Landway has a strict code of conduct we implement with all of our operative and subcontractors to adhere to when working within or around occupied or unoccupied properties these outline our rules and procedures on communication, security, cleanliness behavior, protection and access.

Although our business is relatively a young company we have set our aims high at providing well run operations with an eye on quality and value. We have strong networks of contact in all fields from design to engineering and are well respected within our industry.
